Policy Enforced at the Transaction

Newton has entered mainnet beta, with RedStone and Credora as launch data partners. The product at the center of the launch is Vaults: dynamic, policy-gated launches where a curator’s rules are enforced onchain before a transaction goes through.

Those rules live in a Newton Policy, which can evaluate several conditions, drawing on different data sources for different checks.

RedStone supplies the price and market data and Credora supplies the risk rating. Newton composes them into a single enforceable decision.

A curator sets a policy: if the price of the collateral, or the Credora risk rating on a position, crosses a threshold the curator defines, the position is blocked or liquidated automatically. Newton evaluates the condition before the transaction settles, enforces the outcome onchain, and produces a verifiable receipt.

The policy runs at the transaction, not as deposit-side identity screening or continuous background monitoring.

RedStone: Reliable Data Layer for Policy Enforcement

The data underneath Newton’s enforcement is what gives the enforcement its meaning. A policy is only as strong as the price it reads, and that’s where RedStone comes in.

Credora is the Risk Intelligence layer of the RedStone Stack, providing real-time, model-driven risk ratings that sit on the same data infrastructure as the price feeds.

Market Data and Risk Intelligence are distinct categories, each useful on its own. A policy can draw on one, the other, or both.
